Making a Difference Essay. I know during that time that God wanted to change a child’s life through us. Nurralyn, or Kix as we want to call her because we think that her name is a little bit queer, came to our house together with her father when she was just less than a year old.. values upheld, punctuality, overtime working, teamwork.
My Personal Values. Each and every one of us has many personal values. These values are important to us. They are the rules that we live by. There are three main values that guide me. Getting a good education is my most important value. My family has suffered through a war and lost almost everything, the war has lasted for 20 years.
To be a good citizen first you have to be a good person. By that I mean that you have to be full of values, principles, ethics, etc. When joining all these aspects together you will find out that there is nothing else to be needed. One important aspect for being a good citizen is to help people.
Values are things that are important that guide us, individually, to make decisions. Each person has a different set of values, morals, and ethics, which is a reason that they can handle a situation differently. It’s not something physical that can be seen or be exchange in any kind of way.

The development of personal values happens differently in many people, but my personal values started developing through my upbringing. The way I was raised plays a huge role in the development of my personal values. My parents and grandparents taught me the importance of family and integrity.
I believe everyone has a purpose in life. I believe my purpose in life is to make a difference and to help change the lives’ of others. I chose the career path to become a nurse for this reason among others. I believe that every nurse and doctor should treat their patients the way they would want to be treated.
